Well, I seem to have caught the Olympic fever. I do not know if it is my Canadian patriotism or the love for Olympic hockey that has done this to me. However, if you are unable to catch your favorite Olympic sport on television you can definitely check out CBC's online coverage. They have bulletins in Arabic, Mandarin, Russian and Spanish. They also have a link to CBC Radio Vancouver. Throw in a medal count statistic and live chat and you have got a winning website. For those of you South of the border you can check out NBC's stellar online coverage. They have videos, photos, links to tweets and blogs and visitors can even follow USA athletes from their home towns.

Since we have the Olympics going on it is only appropriate to add a poll and let our members weigh in on who will come out with the most gold medals in the end.

I am sure that our members are beginning to see a great deal of advertising programs in place here at Assyrians Online. Since we do not want to ask our members for money we are forced to generate revenue by whatever means possible. In the coming days we will attempt to clean up the look of Assyrians Online and in the process we will cut down on the banner advertising which is now in place; in hopes of finding something more effective in generating revenue. It's good to be back in Toronto. After a long visit with my in-laws in Arizona it's great to be back! Don't get me wrong, Arizona is a beautiful State and the weather is great but there's no place like home. I will, when I have some time, post some pictures and short videos of my visit. It's -15°C (plus windchill) as I write this. I sure do miss the warm weather... In the meantime, check out Link Bucks for a good way to make some money online.
